Weird drop down menus in entries

So, I've been currently working on the Rhodesia—Voter Registration, 1938–1973 project and the US, Virginia-Vital Records, 1715-1901, when I noticed that certain drop down menus inside the entries like gender or months would not fully respond. Usually, when indexing, those drop down entries would normally respond. Like the birth month entry, it would normally present twelve months instead of nothing at all, and that was only in the Virginia records. The same thing has happened with the sex entry in the Rhodesia records.

So my question is this. Is there a glitch in the system I'm not aware of? Please look into this.
