Question about the Germany Genealogy Research Community
After nearly five years working in the Germany Genealogy Research Community, I still find it nearly impossible to know where to ask a question when there is an issue within a specific community group. Hence even though this is not a "New Idea" I am asking my question here in the hope that someone may be able to provide a response.
The Germany Genealogy Research Community has a new homepage. On the previous homepage for this specific group, there was a link at the top of the homepage which, when clicked on, would provide a long list (50+) of German research links mostly at other sites outside of FamilySearch which were extremely helpful to researchers. For example, one of the links was to a website which if you knew the name of the religious feast day and the year, you could convert the feast day to an actual date.
I no longer see this link to these German research links on the homepage. Will this link be returning to the Germany Genealogy Research Community homepage or is it gone forever?
Thank you.

Speaking as a group leader in a different group, I can reorganise the way the group is presented and how, for example, resource links are accessed.
What is probably happening in your case is that someone is redesigning the group home page and either has not finished or made an error. I imagine that the resource links will reappear in due course.
The best place to raise this is to create a new discussion within the group itself where there is a much higher chance of it being spotted by the group leaders. This is easy to do once you have joined a group. Simply click on the New Discussion icon.

Thank you @Graham Buckell for your response to my question. The information you provided is helpful and I will be patient awaiting the return of the resource links.
