Two images that should contain burial information about the same individual, but don't match.

I received two pages to index for South African burials. The two pages contain information about the same person, but the images do not match. I can tell by the sex and the number of persons listed. The first image really begins on the previous page, but I have no access to the page. The second image continues on the next page, but again I have no access. What do I do with the record I'm suppose to index?

South Africa, Johannesburg—Cemetery Records, 1840–2019 [Part D][MQM8-QKT]

Hi, I went to the original images and spent some time looking through them. It would appear that the register was severely damaged and that the pages are not in order.

I would mark the first image in your batch as No extractable data. I would then index the second image with the information available on the page itself. You have burial date, name, and age. All of the other fields would be marked (Blank). The only additional information that would be available on the next page would be the sex. I could not see a way of actually finding the next page with the condition of the register.

I am not an expert so this is just my suggestion.

    Hope this helps.
