Revert to Previous Format
Between Nov 1 and Nov 2 (Australian time) the on-screen format/outlay changed to be user unfriendly. I am not anti-improvement however it is extremely difficult to use. It is now too time consuming - I spent over an hour to do what it took, yesterday, less than half that time. Is there a way for an individual to revert to the previous view? I can't use this as it is difficult to use (yes, in a month or so I may get used to it) but now I find it sooooooo frustrating!!! Previously the data based was a great resource that was easy to use with a well-defined format. This has now gone. It is that FamilySearch wants to deter researchers from trying to search for their family and contributors from adding to the data base??? Why put roadblocks and walls in front of people when it should be easy to help???

Thank you for your post. Just to be upfront, I’m one of the Quality Assurance Engineers working on the New Person Page.
The person page is used more than any other page on the site. It’s vital that we get it right. There will be a period of time that both the old and the new page are available. We hope during that time we can make the New Person Page prefered over the current experience.

The more specific you can be in your feedback the better we can address concerns.
