I'm always happy to help where I can. I notice, however, that the place names being used are modern ones, and not the name of the country at the time the record was created. Is there any intention of making them historically correct?

How do you quantify these great improvements? From what I have seen, there has been damage done to the data. Historic names that were valid between specific date ranges are being changed to modern place names, with the start dates for the modern places being pushed back to long before they existed. I made a suggestion some time ago to correct one of these, fully backed with references. It appears to have been ignored. I hear my experiences of this are not unique and thus have not submitted more. Today I came across multiple names where the locations were "standardized" to wrong or misleading places. I feel as though I have been wasting my time.
