If the date + month + year of death is given, as well as the person's age at death being given in years, months, and days, then can I use that remarkably specific information to calculate the birth year?

I know that sometimes we are told not to calculate the year like that in the project instructions, but it doesn't say not to for this project.

It's the "US, Virginia—Vital Records, 1715–1901 [Part B]" project

It's general knowledge that indexers do not calculate birth years. Birth years are indexed only when they are provided on a document.

The Field Helps for the birth year say, "Do not calculate the birth year from other information on the record."
