In my document, I have a company listed as the mortgagee, with a person's name in parenthesis. The indexer has included both in the same entry, since there are options for both a person and a company. I am separating them into two entries because I vaguely recall seeing something saying to do so, but I can't find that now. Is it ok to include both in one entry?

    Going by the PI:

If multiple grantees were listed for a single transaction, index information about each one using separate entries in the data entry area.

Since there are two grantees (mortgagees), there should be two separate entries, one for the company and one for the individual.
