Correcting 1950 US Census
Is there a way to correct an error on the 1950 US Census for Utah? I have found a census page attached to an ancestor of mine. She is "married" on the census record but the indexed record records "widowed" for her.
Dorothy O Quinney is found in Utah, Cache, Logan City, ED 3-29, page 20 near the middle of the page. Another Quinney female is a few lines below her and is properly marked "widowed." Here is the link to census page.

@Mary Louise Lillian There is not currently a way to edit the index of the 1950 US Census. But it is coming. Unfortunately, we have not been given a projected date for editing to become available. When editing opens up, we are told that you will be able to edit every indexed field.

I look forward to this! And hope we will have access to editing all fields. I have found a number of errors with my extended family.
I also believe that some entire pages of the census were missed (like the one my immediate family is on). It seems this is the case because I have searched for a number of families on my family's page and none of them come up.
