In the "find" mode it would be most helpful if the "ANY" category could be active. It used to be that you could put in a date of a census for example as 1920 and then click on census category and it would find the 1920 census quickly, not bringing up any other census. I loved this feature, which is no longer active or available to use.

    @Sandy Lamb

    Are you talking about the "FIND" function, or are you actually referring to "Search"?

    I don't recall FIND having a filter option for Census, as Search does. Either way, rather than being inactive, the "ANY" category remains the "default" field to make searches. See the example at https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?q.anyDate.from=1920&q.anyDate.to=1920&q.anyPlace=texas&q.anyPlace.exact=on&q.givenName=charles&q.givenName.exact=on&q.surname=miller&q.surname.exact=on (if you are talking about Search). The results include 1920 census records, although if that is specifically the object of your search, I would select "Residence" (rather than "Any"), then filter on the 1920 US collection.

    Please advise if I am misunderstanding your problem.
