How to add someone that was missed on 1950 census index
I have come across several instances of family members whose names are on the census record, but they were not indexed. I can't figure out how to add them in edit. For example the father was missed, but the wife and two children are correctly indexed.
@Lisa Lane The 1950 US Census on FamilySearch.org is still a work in progress. We have a team that is working to fix some of the missed items in the index and other problems. We do not have a projected date for completion of this project. Meanwhile, if you find your family in the census images, but don't find everyone in the index, you can attach the census image itself to your family members in FamilySearch, thus bypassing the flawed index.
The quickest way to do use the image as a source is to add it to your source box and then attach to each family member from there. Here are a couple of Help Center articles that can help you with the process:0
