FS community managers and moderators - new details page in general
i am one of the many who is struggling with this new page - i have a hard time mentally focusing on what i am trying to do, due to the bold colors splashed up and down the entire page - it is a lot of visual noise, that i can't turn off
i really am trying to understand why these changes were made, when they haven't changed the function of the page at all - adding new features is fine, but can't everything keep the same calm and reverent feel of the "old page"?
can someone please help? i want to like it, but i just don't - and my eyes can't stay there for more than a few minutes
(i am saddened to hear that in a recent meeting the frustrated comment was made that "the members of the church need to quit complaining and just accept it, because this is how it is going to be" - we use this site for hours at a time, and i think we have valuable input)
i love how we can reorganize the details page to fit our preferences - perhaps the old/new visual appearance could be an option for us to change, which would leave the functional changes in place

@Liz . I am a member of the Older Generation. I am 78 years old and am also working to collect ideas and feelings from users of FamilySearch. I assure you that we are interested in helping you to be comfortable using the site. It would be helpful to us if you would make your own post and tell us some of the things that you find to be your preferences. Thank you for your input.
