1950 census

How do we edit errors such as marital status and a child being left off the indexing? The child is clearly visible in the original record.

    @malcott Currently, the only edit option to the 1950 US Census index is the name. Additional fields will be editable in the future--unfortunately, we do not have a projected date for more options to improve the index. Meanwhile, you can use the record you find as a source for your ancestors and note the errors in your "reason to attach". Or, to bypass the flawed index, you can save the image of the page to your source box and use the image as your source. Here are links to Help Center articles that provide details:
