Too many living marked as dead
Could we have a warning pop up about marking people deceased who were born in the last 110 years without at least a reason statement.
As a test, I just added a death date to a person born in the last 110 years with no source or reason statement. The system let me do that without a quibble.
That might stem the tide a bit on the "dead to living" requests.

I think the only time such a warning does appear is when adding names via the source linking process - though I stand to be corrected.
It certainly is far too easy to add living persons with a "Deceased" status - it was anticipated adding names from the 1950 census would help create further problems, but I don't know if this has happened to any great extent.
I'm surprised FamilySearch does not have more safeguards here, especially with its stress on the importance of privacy for the living. From reports on this forum, this issue has become more of a problem recently.

I agree with requiring a reason statement for marking someone deceased without a death date. I just fixed my 95 year old aunt's record again. The reason given was her DOB, so maybe don't allow marking deceased for that reason for people less than 120 years old?

When this keeps happening, usually it is because on the Sources pages of the living person's deceased relatives there are Unfinished Attachments. Go through all those sources and, after finishing all attachments as appropriate at this time, Dismiss the hint. That should help.
Also, add all her immediate relatives to your Following list. Then if anyone creates another profile for her attached to any of them, you will know about it right away.

If a preson is living they put private, in the fields and at least show the Sex of the Person.
This depends on user settings. Unfortunately, many living persons are exposed on Ancestry.com in the trees of other Ancestry.com users.

Revealing even just the number of siblings/children could be a breach of privacy, never mind revealing their sexes. Granted, other genealogy sites (such as Ancestry and even WikiTree) reveal this information as a matter of course, but you can't decide what's right or wrong based on what everybody else is doing.
