Hello,

I live in North America. My sources are in Africa. Whenever there's new information to add, they send it and I enter it. I'd like to be able to share my "tree" or maybe a branch of it with someone who has their own login. Then they can update that branch.

For example:

My cousin. I could/would share the tree so he can update records with me. He can for example update grandmothers sisters and brothers, and up the tree. As new babies are born, he can add them to the various branches. Deletion can be on all records BUT to delete a record, 2 (users, him and I) would have to authorize. Meaning, if I want to delete, he would have to OK. So an error is authorized and confirmed.

Is this possible?

If not, where do we submit feature requests?

Thanks

Um, you appear to have missed the part where the Family Tree on FamilySearch is a single, collaborative, open-edit tree. Nobody has a separate tree here, and anyone can edit nearly anything, after logging in. Only the living people you enter are private to you, as an identity-protection measure.

(The best way to protect the identity of the living is to not put their information online in the first place, not even in a "protected" space. Online trees are not the place to track your living family.)
