US, Massachusetts—Boston Tax Records, 1822–1918 [Part X] Witness column.

I have just received a call back from the Family Search help line. They informed me that the word had come down from the top that we are NOT supposed to index the witness column.

A specific reason as to why was not know at that level, maybe a directive from the record owners.

Hope this helps resolve this question.

Thanks, Larry. I have been holding 2 batches until a decision came. One batch did not index witnesses and the other did
