Unlinking the parents of Mary Ann Lovell
I have Mary Ann Lovell (LBHG-Q8D) on my tree, the daughter of Willliam and Mary Lovell born 1811, from Reading, Berkshire. There is another Mary Ann Lovell (MJ8Q-M23) from Mangotsfield, Gloucestershire born 1810 whose parents were also William and Mary Lovell. My connection is only with the Mary Ann Lovell from Reading and I have no knowledge about the one from Gloucestershire, but I seemed to have somehow linked the Gloucestershire Mary Ann Lovell to my family from Reading.
I couldn't work out how to unlink the Gloucestershire one, and think I have accidently done something wrong. Can you kindly help?

Mistakes are sometimes made, and in this case, the solution is straightforward. Go to the person page of Mary Ann Lovell (LBHG-Q8D) and scroll down until you see her listed as a child, along with the other Mary Ann Lovell (MJ8Q-M23). To the right of both of these names is an edit icon (pen and paper), click on the one beside the 'wrong' Mary Ann Lovell (MJ8Q-M23), and a sub-menu opens which will allow you to remove the relationship between her and her incorrect mother. I have attached a Knowledge Article below that describes doing this step-by-step. Click on the link (use ctrl+click), and follow the instructions to resolve the issue.
I notice that you hadn't put any reason as to why your original action might have been correct, which makes it difficult for others to follow your reasoning, so be sure to include notes and reasons when you delete this relationship and also with any further additions or changes you make to the tree.
Hope this helps.

You also need to restore the original parents for the Mary Ann from Mangotsfield. It would appear that you merged the parents back on 23 Apr 2020.
You will not be able to undo the merge as you have changed the surviving record since you did the merger but you can restore the deleted people and relink them to Mary Ann from Mangotsfield having detached them from the incorrect parents.
