Okay, I'm boggled. Beginning with the fourth person there appears to be several people who were buried before they died. Agatha Christie notwithstanding, what am I missing here? Dates appear to be recorded in the European format of day/month/year.

These types of records were scanned at a crooked angle, so I'm not sure if it was because of how far they were in the book, etc. I understand your frustration, but there is a tip: on both the left and right-hand sides are the numbers 1-27. As the image gets skewed, use the number from the left side to line up with the number from the right side and you should be ok. The number on the right is the first number on the right-hand side of the book. The ruler tool will help some as well, but you will have to adjust this on both sides of the page.

Thanks for drawing my attention to the numbering on both sides; I hadn't caught that before.
