Why doesn´t allow to add spouse or child

Hello!

I am trying to add spouse and child to some people (I am creating them since they are not on the database) and I cannot add spouse or child. I have to create a parent, then another parent, and then add them as a couple, since when trying to create a spouse to the parent is not allowed, a NOT ALLOWED symbol appears.
