Um, please don't.
The article linked by Kerijy describes a process that is badly flawed and should not be used. It fails to find existing duplicates, alerts to so many non-duplicates that you end up missing the real ones out of sheer tedium, and never shows you adequate information to make good decisions. Any time or typos saved are completely lost to the errors created.
It is much better to edit Family Tree one profile at a time, using your uploaded file (in Genealogies) as a reference. It will be faster in the long run, and much less error-prone.

Neither of these answers helps me.
I have uploaded all of my ancestors from the GEDCOM file into "Family Tree", but they only show up in "my contributions" rather than MY family tree. Any help with this?

Are they marked as living? Do they have a yellow highlight across the top saying they are private?

Gedcoms belong in that section called "Genealogies" where individual trees are kept.
Frankly, I am very tired of having to clean up a big mess of duplicates again and again.
Those marked living are only ones you see what you created. Nobody else can see them until 110 years is up or until you change your living ones to deceased.
