Calculating community service hours

@CamClark1, to my knowledge FamilySearch has never and does not now keep track of anyone's hours indexing. There is a place under Get Involved then Indexing and also under 1950 US Census where a count of the number of names Indexed/Review etc is shown. Is this what you mean.

@CamClark1, so I guess FamilySearch ate my graphics. Anyway it looks like there is an easier way to get to your contributions.
Click the Get Involved tab then choose Opportunities. Now this gives a total count of names completed but does not give any clock hours.

. . . but just because FamilySearch doesnt keep track of hours
doesn't mean the person still cant submit hours worked that THEY keep track of for Community Service.
(depending on the rules of community service)
I would think a parent or other person could signoff on the hours.

I also transcribe for billiongraves.com and they calculate 60 images of transcribing equals 1 hour.
Some documents are much easier to transcribe than others but it's an easy rule to follow.
