indexing mortgages, making them easier
I have been doing NY mortgages. I see many financial institution names repeated through out a batch. Long names like Peoples savings bank of Westchester NY.
Can the mortgagor and mortgage field be programed similar to the surname field, where if the name has appeared recently,,, start to put in a letter or two,, and different choices drop down ? This could save some time

Try modifying the setting for Autocomplete/ Auto Complete from its default for the project. Click the dropdown menu Batch>Settings. You should see this panel. I generally keep it off, as you can see, but you will probably find that the “project defaults”option is selected. Choose the middle option to turn Auto Complete ON for all fields and you might get the behavior you want.

a little time saving suggestion; I have been indexing nearly very dat for 2 years. I would think it unnecessary for a project containing mortgages, to list a prefix for a mortgage or mortgagee..
Same can be said for general indexing: W H Y do we need fields for prefixes and suffixes.
It should not be necessary to list Mrs Helen Smith. or Mr John Smith. Yes, I know I can hide these fields,, BUT when it comes time to submit,, it is necessary to blank as many as 120 empty fields before it can be submitted .
