I am indexing a marriage register. The index fields ask for the "Marriage Date" but several of those dates are missing and the date available is the date the Marriage Licence was given. However, in the instructions it does not advise to use the licence date instead of the marriage date.

Should I keep the marriage date blank, or should I use the license date in place of the marriage date?

Please share your batch code. Your batch code is located at the top of the indexing screen and looks like [1111-AAA]. You can also access the batch code (it will say "Batch ID" this way) under Batch ---> About Batch.

Project instructions vary, so it helps the community to identify the project you are working on, and by sharing the particular batch you are working, so someone is able to see what you are the page(s) you are working on.

Checking the field help may also give you the answer.
