Photos do not show up on Portrait Chart but do on Landscape Chart!

A friend's photos on her Portrait Chart do not show, but they are there on the Landscape Chart & also pages. How does she get the photos to show on the Portrait Chart? Thank you for your help.

I tried this on my account and it did show photos of ancestors in both Landscape and Portrait views.

Is there any of her information she would like to share so that I may replicate the issue and perhaps help her resolve it?

Does the friend have portraits selected in the options menu?
