Retrieving PAF back-up and GEDCOM data files from memory sticks

An elderly relative, who is not a Church member, recently located some old memory sticks that contain back-up data and possibly GEDCOM files from when he used the PAF program. His health is now failing and a niece of his has been trying to retrieve the data for him, but nobody has the PAF program and she has been unable to open the files. They live back on the east coast of the USA and I live in Oregon.

I will be traveling to Salt Lake City to do research at the FamilySearch Family History Library in Salt Lake from Oct 29th - Nov 5th, 2022. I am wondering if the Family History Library has any technology onsite that is able to retrieve old PAF files from memory sticks? If so, would I be able to bring these memory sticks with me and have the data retrieved during the week while I am there?

Thank you,

Laraine Clark
