FamilySearch has attached a second wife to George Washington Cox (1846-1898) which is not correct.

George Washington Cox married America Elizabeth Boswell only on 30 January 1873 in Wayne, Iowa and they had six children in Iowa.

Martha Jane Harris Cox married George W. Cox (1848-1901) on 22 October 1872 in Indiana and they had five children in Indiana.

@philbic There was a bad merge of 2 George W Cox in Oct 2017. The profile L7GX-86J needs to be restored and the men will be separated, then the record for each will likely need to be cleaned up so all the correct sources follow and each is attached to the correct wife and children. Since Familysearch is a collaborative tree you can go and fix this. If you need help, I am happy to help untangle the bad merge.

Please if you would go ahead and restore and fix this family. I would appreciate it. I didn't merge them but appreciate any help to straighten out incorrect mix ups.

Phyllis, I got them unmerged and added the correct parents to George married to Martha in Indiana.
