How to merge duplicate records for the child of a read-only individual?
Two children of Hugh Jenne Cannon KWC3-RGY (read-only) and Sarah Ellen Richards KWC3-RGB (also read-only) have possible duplicate records, and it appears that FamilySearch patrons cannot review or merge the duplicate records of individuals who have a relationship with a read-only person. Is it possible to resolve the duplicate records for these two children?
- George Richards Cannon KWC2-RMY (duplicates: LFJ3-PWF, LN8Z-VHV and LXG9-9T10); and
- Maxwell Richards Cannon KWZW-R58 (duplicate: LXVK-34S)
Thank you.

Read-only records show a gray banner and allow no additions or changes. The Discussions and Latest Changes features are unavailable. Read-only records often have a notification that the record is confidential.
When we mark records as "read only," it prevents collaboration. Because we encourage collaboration, we do not accept guest requests to mark a record as read-only.
Reporting an error in a read-only record
To report an error in a read-only record or provide additional information, please post your question in the FamilySearch Community. Please include what you would like to change, and the reasons. Do not include any private information, like username, helper number, or email address.
A moderator can move your question to a team who can help. The team contacts you through a private message in Community if they need more information.
Enter a detailed description and reason for the merge including source evidence.
