I am trying to figure out what the document says about the birth of Charles. I think it says that the mother was at Felix Jeune's home and the father was somewhere else?
Please see below the details of Charles Jeune's birth record:
Name of the declarant: Félix Jeune, 36 years old, worker, residing in Val-et-Châtillon
Child's name: Charles Jeune, born on 14 Jul 1860 at 4 am, male, legitimate child, born in in Val-et-Châtillon, rue du Bajeu (Bajeu street)
Father's name: Jean Nicolas Jeune, 50 years old, woodcutter, residing in Val-et-Châtillon, currently out of town
Mother's name: Marianne Béné, 37 years old, without profession, spouse of Jean Nicolas Jeune
Sorry - it's too small for me to translate all of it. The eyes are getting old.
It does indicate that the father is temporarily absent from the town.
@MaryRandall63 It looks like @Áine Ní Donnghaile was unable to read the document. I was able to enlarge it so it was readable however I am not proficient in the language it was written in, maybe another person who has the necessary wile see your post and translate it.
@KamillaKovacs3 Would you be able to help translate this French record?
Thank you very much!
