I am looking at this batch to Review. I see that the left hand side shows birth and death dates for those individuals. The right side page lists names and a date without a column heading. The indexer has marked it as Church Memberships but how do we know that these are not Birth records? I have viewed the other reference images and found no help. I need advice.

@gary_noble Thank you. I assume that I will review the right page as Church Membership and then I can add the Burial names and dates on the left side that the indexer did not do? Is that correct?

I also have come across two other types of records in this project that I have not been able to figure out what they are, mostly because despite using the Dutch Genealogical Word List and Google, I cannot understand the record type. Some also seem mixed. I have been doing South African Province Church and the Dutch Reformed Records for a couple of months so I'm familiar with the names, place names, and simple records but I would like to learn how to do the more complicated ones.

Is it possible that you can help me understand the records as I continue to Ask a Question in the Indexing Community Forum?

How does one have access to the film records such as the one for which you shared the link?

All these indexes are memberships, as per the film title they come from. This particular film still has the film reel icon, meaning it can only be viewed at a family history centre. It is one of the films that was requested to be made generally viewable to the public long ago, but that has fallen on deaf ears at FS. So without being able to access this film I havent been able to draw a conclusion on why only some of the members are highlighted on the left, with their dates of confirmation "aangenomen" and dates of death "overlede" DRC records are not my strong point though

@gary_noble Knowing that these are all membership records and what "aangenomen" means helps a lot.
