Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.

I have received a report from another user with the same issue. May suggest a problem in the system somewhere although I can still drag and drop without difficulty. Clearing FamilySearch cookies did not work. I have suggested other solutions including the one above. Will let you know the outcome. Curiously one of the records that the user could not drag and drop has been attached by that person. Whether she did it by going directly into that record, I am not yet sure.

I cleared cookies. Tried another browser. The issue is in source linker if the source has to be dragged and dropped in any type record that doesn’t automatically place the person from the source directly adjacent to the potential person/record. When you hover, it says click and drag message but you can’t execute the drag and drop. I have resorted to adding the ap to go through each unattached person and doing but find maneuvering in the ap cumbersome and still looking for the functionality. The issue has to be somewhere in settings but I haven’t been able to find it.

In the other case, the person reported that she was using Android which presumably means the FamilySearch App. She has now reported that the problem has cleared itself suggesting a temporary bug in the system.
Operating via a PC, I continue to have no problems.
I do not believe that there is anything in Settings that will affect the issue.
It may be that the problem will go by itself.
In the meantime, there is a workaround that is less fiddly than going through each individual record.
Change the person of record using the Change button in blue on the left and then, if necessary, change the selected person by using the Change button in blue on the right.
