Photo pedigree on gift items
Earlier this year I created a 5-generation hourglass style photo pedigree chart and printed it on a custom phone case. While I look at it frequently myself, I also find I quickly pull it out of my pocket when someone asks me about my family, eliciting, "that is so cool!".
I have had so much fun with it that I plan to print the chart on other items and give some as gifts (e.g. placemat, mousepad, mug, etc.).
Unfortunately, making the chart and phone case took some doing since neither FS nor the chart making sites offer such a chart nor output an image file, and none of the photo printing sites have an interface to FS nor much graphics editing capability. I ended up building the chart myself using a presentation program.
It would be handy if FS or a third party got involved to streamline the process.
