make it easier and more approachable
use common language that everyone understands and not high tech terms. I feel very frustrated when doing genealogy . Family Search people are always changing programs and formats to so called make them better but they actually make them worse and too complicated for people like me who are older and from a different generation. You get used to one format and then it is gone .

oh sweet Catherine - i feel your pain so intensely - there seems to be constant changes, that don't feel like they improve a lot - sometimes it seems as if the engineers need a new project (i know it is more than that, and the changes are approved by those ultimately in charge of the site) - the word "frustrating" seems so inadequate - those of us who work on the simpler end of this important endeavor just need something we can depend on to be simple to understand

I agree. I help many older people trying to use Family Search. They just get used to how a feature works, then it gets changed and they have to start all over again with the learning curve. Even something as simple as moving information can be hard to deal with.
As for myself, though I use Family Search almost every day, I too have been frustrated with the frequent changes. Why can't the programmers just leave it alone?
If they have to change something, they should improve the "Find" function, or make the "Search Records" more accurate.
