Problem with Religious Record and other campaigns

A guest wrote me as follows reference to the Religious Record Campaign: "Is this click bait? Every time I log in, I get absolutely no result. Why send me these notices when nothing comes of them?" What would you suggest I tell her?

I think I would be advising them not to click on anything unless they know the source to be genuine (web search or similar), or unless they specifically contacted them and requested information, as opposed to receiving an invitation.
