How do we request for a set of records to be re-scanned, or a new photo record taken?

This set of records would be easily indexed, but the photo is washed out. Is it possible to reach out and have it redone?

Here is the one I am working on.

US, Virginia—Vital Records, 1715–1901 [Part B][M3RG-B9N]

Thank you for your question and willingness to complete these difficult images! I don't think there is a way to make such a request.

Index what you can from the image, and mark the fields you can't decipher, according to the General Guidelines under Unreadable Records, it says in the last three bullets to use Ctrl-U for field, Ctrl Shift U for entire record, and if the entire image is unreadable mark it NED No Extractable Data. Your image does have some readable data so just do what you can.

You also have the option to return the batch using the menu item Batch, then Return Batch. If a batch is returned a few times (don't know how many) it will be sent to a special group who have other tools and more expertise with difficult images
