Batch code: [M3BS-V5J]

Entry #10, John Martha Gale. Would that be John Martha or John and Martha? If it is the latter, I haven't come across a couple listed like this. I only ask because there are a couple more after that have the double name.

I think it is a couple, John and Martha. Looking just below, Gillis V has an initial included with what appears to be the male name and then Maria. Further down Gillis V is listed by himself with the V in the end column.

    Just my opinion.

Those folks (John, Martha, Gillis V, Samuel, etc.) on various lines are individuals involved in transactions and so each gets their own entry for their respective transaction. They also share a surname (Gale) and that’s all we know about them. They could be cousins, spouses, siblings, etc., or even genetically unrelated. But, we don’t need to know that info for indexing purposes for this project - that info is not indexed In John and Martha Gale’s case, for example, regardless of their other relationships, for the purposes of indexing, they were both involved in transaction, so each gets an entry containing their names and the rest of the transaction details.
