I am shown as 12th cousin once removed from Her late Majesty but, one the people on the list of my descendants appears no where else. So I cant verify her existence. I am related by marriage through the Spencer and Bertie families.

There are many inaccuracies online. Doing diligent work pays off. Thankfully my family has kept enough stories passed through generations, allowing me to search more easily through records. It's depressing to find this is my family tree, after living a life of peasantry, poverty, and "work-until-you-croak" ethics. The royal family is also related to all the U.S. Presidents except Martin Van Buren; and so am I. These discoveries are the most disheartening things I've ever learned. Cheers.

My great grandmother on my mothers paternal side was a Winn. I was able to trace her line back to a Sheriff Maurice Wynne that was married to Katheryn of Berain.

Queen Elizabeth II was my 12th cousin on my father's father's side and 10th cousin on my mother's father's side. Princess Diana was my 8th cousin on my mother's side. I can't figure out how I can also be related to 33 of the 45 U.S. presidents and Sir Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Lucille Ball, and a host of others, including Ben Franklin, and Darwin. I was watching an old video of the 1960's folk group The Seekers, and now I'm related to Judith Durham! That just doesn't seem right.

Marsha6562 We are all related somehow. This is an open forum and there are many inaccuracies online. When working in Family Search, the only way to be sure is to be able to obtain records of proof of birth, death, marriage records of your own line and ancestors working one by one.
