I am shown as 12th cousin once removed from Her late Majesty but, one the people on the list of my descendants appears no where else. So I cant verify her existence. I am related by marriage through the Spencer and Bertie families.

There are many inaccuracies online. Doing diligent work pays off. Thankfully my family has kept enough stories passed through generations, allowing me to search more easily through records. It's depressing to find this is my family tree, after living a life of peasantry, poverty, and "work-until-you-croak" ethics. The royal family is also related to all the U.S. Presidents except Martin Van Buren; and so am I. These discoveries are the most disheartening things I've ever learned. Cheers.

11th cousin, once removed to Queen Elizabeth II through her mother's line and 9th cousin to Princess Diana Frances Spenser through her father's line. I love it!

My husband is a McNeil, thought to be of Murdoch McNeil/MacNeil of the Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides also.

I am just beginning his history so was glad to see you have dated to 1655 - gives me encouragement - thank you for sharing Hugh
