How to correct the relationship in a record that was translated incorrectly.

The following record would let me edit the name, but not the relationship, of Martin Brehmer G8Q4-SVN to Hermann Julius Brehmer GF5H-MCF. Martin is the father, not the spouse!

Looking forward to resolving this issue,

Relationships cannot be corrected in any index I've encountered so far on FS.

The good news is that you can attach the record to the correct people, using Source Linker, despite the index's error. (Source Linker will be unhappy about it, but it can tough it out. :-)

On the index entry page that you linked, click Hermann's name to go to his "version", where it shows that it's attached to his profile. Click the paper-and-paperclip icon to the right of his profile (at the top of the right-hand column) to open Source Linker.

In the left-hand (document) column, click Change and choose Martin. Then, in the right-hand (tree) column, click Change and choose Martin.

Now you can click Compare and proceed as usual to attach the indexed record to Martin's profile. In the resulting source citation, you can add a note about the incorrectly-indexed relationship.

Ignore the black triangle between Hermann and Dorothee in Source Linker. As I said, it'll be unhappy, but it can deal.
