digitizing a specific film

Help chat seemed to indicate that all films had been digitized but one that I'ld like to look at still shows the little film reel icon. It's film #1206419, image group #7966661. Will the digitized version be made available soon?

The film reel icon means that the images cannot be viewed without being at a specific location. All films have been digitized. The D in the DGS number stands for digitized.

Digitized does not mean online. Records may be restricted by the originator or by the location, for reasons of privacy or copyright, among other reasons. I note that some of the records - manuscripts - cover very recent dates.

Copyright laws prevent items published after 1927 from being posted on line. (even if they have been digitized)

It depends on the copyright status of the item (plus various other factors)

Most items that can be placed on line - have been placed on line as far as I understand.

This film has records from 1980, which is likely to be too recent. FamilySearch must comply with all relevant privacy laws, and this prevents many records that are less than 100 years from being published.
