This is probably not the right place for this comment but I cannot find any other place. I have been using a PC for over thirty years and help others with genealogy on the computer, however, I sometime have questions. Today, the only way I could reach you was to set up an appointment. When I went to the link, I was reminded that the computer I was using did not have a camera and realized that it didn't have a mic either. When I started my other computer, I had difficulty logging into goggle. The helper called me when she could not hear me (5 min of a 15 min appointment lost). Many people are not as fortunate as I am and do not have a computer with a camera and mic. If I had as much trouble as I did, there are many people who will think that they do not have the know how to connect with computer. You should have an option to receive a call rather that connect by computer. I find that many people get discouraged because they are afraid and frustrated when working with the computer. I think you need to make it easier for them and support them not make it more difficult for them. I would like to see them encouraged not discouraged.

The result of the call was also disappointing because I was told to use feedback to report the issue I called about. I will do that here because I am not going to try to get to this form again.

I have repeatedly received e-mail telling me that I have a new notification, only to get the message, "You have not new notifications." when I go to notifications. After getting that message a few days ago, I had a red dot on the bell today and found a message from Monday that was not there when I looked in response to the last e-mail. I do not want to ignore your e-mails but I don't want to waste time and be annoyed by these games.

Please, if you send an e-mail telling me you need more information, include what information you need and an e-mail address to which I can send the information. I the past, I have been told that more information was needed but did not know what and had no place to sent the information.

Sincerely,

Karen
