FamilySearch collection Death records, Knoxville, 1881-1913 Film #7619894. I searched the index of the film for Walter Wright who died 30 July 1896 in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, USA. In the index I found a marriage for Walter Wright on 30 July 1896 in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, USA with no spouse listed. I found it suspicious that someone there was a marriage for the same name, date, and place as the death I was looking for. I pulled up the image associated with that index (#587) and it clearly is a death record. The death record was indexed as a marriage record. I'm not sure how many other records in that collection are like that. This should be fixed.
