immigration records Canada 1952
Through the jungle of sites cannot find what I am looking for: immigration records of family who emigrated to Canada 10-9-1952 by ship Prins Johan Willem Friso from Antwerp to Montreal. They arrived in Sexsmith, ALB october 26, 1952.
Wich are the correct files to look for since the name also comes up empty at your site:
Jack Manheim born Amsterdam 12-30-1910
he came with wife Kathleen Manheim nee Burrows(born UK 1911) and son Michael Robert (born Amsterdam 1947)
In 1960s they lived in Seattle, King County WA where she died 1967 and he in 2000.
Thanks for helping,
Paul Beek

"Records of immigrants arriving at Canadian land and seaports from January 1, 1936 onwards remain in the custody of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada."
There are instructions for requesting a record here: https://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/immigration/immigration-records/Pages/introduction.aspx#a

Thanks for your kind reply.
Too bad that cannot apply for it online and that they always charge you for this simple kind of paperwork
Best regards from Holland,
Paul

Records that recent, in the United States, are often restricted from public access, for privacy of those who may be living.

@PaulBeek I combined your comments since they relate to the same issue. I had to remove your request for financial help. There are groups who offer help like this. Try Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. Also, you should be able to get a money order at a bank in your country in a foreign currency so you can make the request you need at the link provided by @Áine Ní Donnghaile above. I hope you get the doc you need!

Hi Sam
Thanks for your kind reply.
Am not in need of money, just point out that from here it is difficult to get docs since we do not have money orders, bank drafts, cheques etc, we pay all by online banking, from my bank to the one where I order things like docs. All in euros of course, through one site I can send euros and they convert in local currency.
Have a nice day/evening
Best regards,
Paul
