Idaho County, Idaho Judgements and index: DGS 4533342

I am trying to view the index (item 7) for Idaho County, Idaho, and the Judgements (item 6) for 1870. These are included on the microfilm along with Idaho births, marriages, and deaths. The only option for viewing DGS 4533342 online is to search the index. The contents of the microfilm must be viewed at a Family History Center or the FHL. However, when searching the index the only information that comes up is for the births, marriages, and/or deaths. How can I access the index for the judgements?

Unless there's an (online) index of that (paper) index, you may not be able to access it, short of showing up in Salt Lake City.

Unfortunately, the Catalog does not break down indexed status beyond the film level. If there are index entries associated with any of the images on the film, then the catalog shows the magnifying glass for all items on that film. For example, on a film that has baptisms in item 1, marriages in item 2, and burials in item 3, where the baptisms have been indexed but not the marriages or burials, the catalog will nonetheless show a magnifying glass for all three items.

The Family History Library in SLC does have a Lookup Service, but I don't know whether they're able (or willing) to search an index for you. I suppose it can't hurt to ask.
