FamilySearch App lagging and crashing

Is anyone else having issues with the FamilySearch App. Mine constantly locks up and crashes, or had extreme lags in processing updates. I have version 4.5.4 installed on an iPhone Xr IOS 15.6.1. I have 34 GB of available storage so that isn't the issue. I've downloaded the 6-generation pedigree, uninstalled, powered off the phone, etc.

None of the normal trouble shooting steps help at all. Any suggestions/

Yes, the app is locking up for other users.

I’ve had same issue for a few months. It happens on my iPhone and iPad, a little less frequently on PC. It kept me from participating as much with the 1950’s Census indexing. Perhaps that and also introduction of new profiles is affecting the program.
