Wrong birth date

I think you have the wrong Eugene Kirk. This Eugene Kirk (K8VQ-XK7) has parents that weren't old enough to have a child in 1897. In 1897, mom (KC97-S1X) would have been 14 and dad (KC64-HMN) would have been 9. Also, where was your grandfather born? This family appears to have lived in Northern Ireland.

Yes, you definitely have got "your" Eugene Kirk (if definitely born in 1897) confused with the one who was the son of Peter and Bridget - who did not marry until 1913. As K8VQ-XK7 has been given full birth and death details, he should be left where he is and you should create a new profile for your grandfather, placing him under his actual parents (probably married some time before his 1897 birth).
It is up to us as individuals (not "FamilySearch") to correct mistakes we find in Family Tree, but there is no obvious error in this case - it appears you have mistaken the identity of two different individuals who had the same name.
By the way, if you do come to carry out your own work in Family Tree, please read "Help" articles first. With specific regard to dates, you should always use the format "1 November 1897" - assuming that is what you mean by "1/11/1897" - not the alternative interpretation of 11 January 1897.

Sharon Kay Mcconnell (maiden name) listed wrong on family information posted. I married Wilson Paul Simpkins Oct 31 99.
Also my xspouse is listed and I prefer to not have that as info he is deceased - we divorced in 1998. He has other info posted by his family a brother Ralph Watson.
Thank making the necessary corrections

Sharon - Living entries in FamilySearch are only viewable to the login account that created them. If you are seeing some incorrect info on yourself (or spouse (assuming still living)); you can change that as you like.
Deceased persons are viewable by all, as well as being editable by all. Correct information should prevail, and while relationships may bring up bad memories for some; accurate relationships, vital information and the likes is the purpose of genealogy and FamilySearch Family Tree - absent of casting blame or demeaning insinuation.
