Does anyone know What Features will be unavalaible on Saturday Aug. 20th and Sunday? The message is hard to understand and only shows up periodically on Family Search so just now saw it. We have a large Family History Event going on tomorrow and just don't know if we have to cancil it??!

If it is anything like previous maintenance events, you will hardly notice. The last time - last week - I used the site all day, with no issues. The announced time period changed several times over the course of the day. The first announcement is usually "worst case" and then staff tweaks the announcement when they see how the maintenance is progressing.
It's standard practice on any website to announce maintenance and warn that something may not work as expected. It's the sites that do maintenance without notice where you are more likely to experience problems.
