new detail page
Thanks for the opportunity to offer suggestions. I have been on familysearch for years.
The changes offer so many options that, from whom I talk to, confusion is a major issue.
When I call 866 406 1830, the respondent has commented: Changes in the technical side with little communication to us on the phone lines. I ask questions and cannot get an answer.
I do prefer the old details page...the new is quite flashy but with less easily accessible substance. I had difficulty just figuring out how to comment on the new page. Had to go through several links.
On sign in when I go to my family tree page, I used to get my tree in landscape...now its the last person I researched...just the name. I have to navigate to get to my my tree with me as the home person. Thanks for still being the best...

When you post a suggestion or comment to the engineers, the post does get forwarded on to the proper team but only rarely will someone comment back. You just have to trust that the right people get it.
Generally the only comments you will get here will be from other users.
