Other people adding to my tree
Other people have been adding ancestors to my tree. I believe some of them are in error. I have been matched to ancestors through DNA and now I am unable to correct them in my tree on Family Search. Please help. It would be better if people were not adding someone without at least contacting me and discussing their option.

Family Tree is a single, universal, open-edit tree where anyone can work on any profile he or she can make a contribution to. We do not have individual trees here. To help stamp out the confusion between this fact of Family Tree, it is best to avoid terms like "my tree" in favor of something like "Other people adding to my relatives."
It would be nice if people collaborated more than they do, but it is not required. A common complaint here is that when people do try and message other people working on the same Family Tree profiles, they won't answer. So, unfortunately, we just have to keep working to keep things correct.
When you say "now I am unable to correct them in [Family Tree], what do you mean? Everything is editable in Family Tree. You should be able to correct anything. All changes made are recorded in the Change Log and it is easy to recover and restore information that was incorrectly changed.

If you share some of the profile IDs where you think there is an error, we could take a look.
