Improvements to the "Reasons" options when editing a source accompanied by an image
Under Sources for each person, in the "View source" window, when there is an image of the original document, clicking on "Edit" next to an entry takes you to a window that invites the user to "Improve" the entry. Under Step 3, the user is required to select one of two options under "Select a reason". These are
- Indexed incorrectly
- Wrong in the document
My suggestions:
a. Change item 2 to "Incorrect in the original document".
b. Provide a third option, to cater for what in my experience is nearly always the problem: "Incorrectly transcribed".
