Uable to open batch for 4 days
I have a batch on my screen, which I have not been able to open. In the last 4 days, I have attempted to open it again (also said OK), but was given the same message stated below. I would like to eliminate this batch that cannot be opened in my screen and during a search of another batch. Thanks for your direction.
Batch Cannot Be Loaded
The batch you are trying to load is not available. Please find another batch to work on. If the problem persists for a given project, try another project.

It sound like Family Search has pulled the project for some reason. I would just return the batch and continue working on other projects.
To delete click on the manage button above the batch list and return the batch.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Right, I am familiar with returning a batch. Regrettably, I do not have that option i this case. When I click on OK after the message, it just takes me back to the same place. I have tried repeatedly, and nothing works to return (no option for that) the batch.
I would love to get the batch off my opening screen, as it is confusing having it there.
Thank you.

@P Livingston --try this when Your computer does not respond quickly and efficiently execute your commands.
Data on FamilySearch displays poorly or not at all.
Steps (website)
Go to https://familysearch.org/cookies.
When the Reset your cookies? appears, click Yes.
(Optional) Reset your cookie preferences, if you do not like the default choice. Instruction are listed in the related articles, below.
Note: This feature only removes FamilySearch cookies from your browser.
Steps (mobile)
The FamilySearch mobile apps do not use cookies.
If, however, you access the FamilySearch.org website on a mobile device through a browser, the cookie preferences are used. You can delete them as described for the website.

Thanks for your input, but this did not eliminate the problem. I still see the batch that appears, but is not available. I have no option to return the batch.

Have you tried returning the batch directly from your "opening screen" ?

I cannot return the batch, because I have no option (button to click on) to return the batch. The only thing I can do is click on the OK button, which takes me directly back to where I was.

Hi, P Livingston
Sorry if I am not understanding, just trying to help.
Don't try to open the batch. While you are still at your "opening screen", which I call my Home Screen, click on the Manage Botton that is just above your current list of batches. This should make boxes appear to the left of your batches. Tick the box next to the batch you are trying to return. This should cause a button entitled Return 1 Selected Batch to appear at the top of your list. Click that button and the batch that you ticked should be gone.
If you have already tried this I apologize for my persistence.

So grateful for your persistence.
