    Hello!

While searching a birth for Rockingham Virginia in 1846, I went to here:

    • Virginia, birth records, 1721-2011
    • Images of Department of Health birth certificates located at the Virginia State Library.Virginia, Birth Records, 1721-2011

Unfortunately this record set is attached to the 1912-1913 records, so the correct records cannot be viewed.

    Thank you Wendy Jones

This would appear to be an inaccurate description in the catalog, on this page. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2421402 The "click here" link goes to the 1912-1913 births database.

Since Virginia did not keep birth records in the 19th century, it appears this title needs to be corrected. A request can be submitted to books@familysearch.org .

Edit to add: there is a separate record set for earlier births and christenings in Virginia: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1708660
