i am working in italian archives - the problem is FS has already decided what i can look at - consequently in the right list is the mention of the person the record is attached to but NEGLECTS to mention the person the record is really about - hence each entry must be pulled up and looked at which is a colossial waste of time especially since the "back arrow" leads to only one site "sign in". i am no novice at this research and instead am treating like a dummy. FIX your right hand listing to include the person's name the record is really about FOR INSTANCE: Giacomo is the father, nice, but the record actually is about Anna or Francesca or Gaetano - NO I am not willing to attach any record to anyone until all the information is there - i suspect all this duplication in FS is this rush to judgment and wanting to be the person who is first. This is about being first?

I can't figure out what you mean by "right list".
Are you talking about "Attached in Family Tree to..." or "Possible Family Tree Match" at the top of the right-hand column of index entry pages? If so, what is it about that information that you would like changed? Are you getting incorrect suggestions about tree matches?
If you're looking at an index entry page for an event with multiple people involved, you should be able to click the name of another participant to go to that person's index entry.
Sometimes, the hinting algorithms "recognize" a parent but not the child, or vice versa, but they are just hints: if you know who the people are, you don't need to rely on hints in order to attach the index entries as sources -- and even if the index got things wrong, you can still attach the record to the correct people.
Or are you talking about something completely different?
